Hello Friends – 

The Fitchburg Serenity Club has offered a safe and welcoming home to thousands of us committed to our recovery in 88 meetings each week (both English and Spanish) across a broad range of 12-Step programs…AA, Al-Anon, NA, ACA, DA, GA, SAA, OA. Since the first meeting 48 years ago on 11/4/77, we have grown to serve over 5,000 meeting participants each month!

I recently had occasion to ask several FSC members and guests what draws them to meetings at our Clubhouse and what it means to them. The excerpts below are representative of the heartfelt responses I received:

• “FSC quite literally saved my life. I was in the depths. FSC, through its amazing meetings and people, offered the hope and stability I needed to discover in sobriety a life more fulfilling than I could ever have dreamed.” Brian C.

Those of us who are able, and whose recovery has been nurtured by the strong, gentle, pragmatic support we’ve received at our meetings at FSC, need to consider a year-end contribution to cover the operating costs unmet by the Club’s share of the 7^th Tradition baskets. I’m “in” and hope you will join me if you can.
