Maintaining a Clean & Healthy Environment
For members and attenders wanting to know what safety measures are in place at the clubhouse for in-person gatherings during our current situation, following is a list of steps begin taken. These are also posted in common and meeting areas at the clubhouse. We’ve attempted to follow CDC and WI governmental/health recommendations and will continue to monitor government and health organization recommendations for community groups as the situation evolves.
The FSC Board will meet to discuss updates to this list of steps as our local community shifts from our current shelter in place restrictions to a post-May 26 situation, and will post updates prior to May 26 here, on our website and on our Facebook page. If you have questions, please email board@fitchburgserenityclub.com.
- Professional cleaners come 3x per week to clean and wipe down common areas, including table tops. Disinfectant is used for hard surfaces in common areas.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available for use in each meeting room and in the common areas.
- A disinfecting bleach solution is available in every room and common area to wipe down the tables and other hard surfaces. This is a 9:1 bleach solution and the refill supplies, including a funnel for easy pouring, is located in the kitchen under the sink. A chart is provided in every area to log when the tables are cleaned.
- Meeting rooms have been adjusted to align with Governor Evers’ order banning gatherings of 10 or more. Once a meeting reaches 10 occupants, please take a split in any of the other available rooms. (Note: While the shelter in place order and closing of non-essential businesses is more up-to-date than the 10 or more order, the restriction of 10 people per room is a manageable way to adhere to the six-foot distance guideline in place in most public areas at this time where gatherings still take place.)
We are monitoring government and health organization recommendations for community groups. We will update members if and when the above list of actions changes.
If you have any questions, please email: board@fitchburgserenityclub.com.
Thank you, FSC Board
